EMEA Technology Training Programme

CODESYS training request

You cannot really learn a control platform from its datasheet; the difference shows when you build the first project yourself. Our training programme is built on exactly that: every module ends with a working example in the room.

What the programme is for

The goal is that by the end you can build a working control project for your own machine from scratch. The programme is therefore built around exercises rather than slides: each module starts with why the topic exists, then works through an example we build together in the room.

The content is rearranged around the audience. If your machines are servo-heavy we expand the motion module; if the weight is on operator screens we go deeper into visualization. Your answers on the registration form are what drive that.

Course modules

These modules form the backbone of the core programme. They are not all covered to the same depth in every session — the balance is set by what the group needs.

IEC 61131-3 Fundamentals

Variable declaration, data types, program organisation units and task configuration — and which of the six languages earns its place where.

Development Environment and Libraries

The project tree, library manager, version comparison, online debugging and simulation — testing before you reach the machine.

Runtime and Task Management

Choosing cycle times, task priorities, measuring jitter and verifying real-time behaviour on the machine itself.

Motion Control with SoftMotion

Single-axis commands, electronic cams and gearing, axis synchronisation, plus an introduction to CNC and robot kinematics.

Fieldbus in Practice

Setting up an EtherCAT master, device description files, PROFINET and CANopen connections, and moving data upstream over OPC UA.

Visualization and Operator Screens

Producing panel, browser and mobile screens from one project: alarm handling, trend charts and recipe pages.

On-site training

If your team is large, or you want the sessions to run on your own machine, we deliver the training at your site. In that case we work through your machine list, existing control hardware and target outcome in advance, and write the exercises around them.

  • Content rebuilt around participant numbers and experience level.
  • Real examples and data taken from your own machine park.
  • Three months of email support on the exercise projects afterwards.
  • Certificates and course notes delivered to your organisation.

Registration form

The form is submitted straight into the EMEA Technology registration system.

Filling in the form below is enough to pre-register, and it creates no payment obligation at this stage. We normally come back within one business day with a schedule and a quote.

Frequently asked questions

Who can attend the training?

Software and electrical teams at machine builders, maintenance engineers, system integrators and automation students can all attend. Some prior PLC knowledge helps but is not required — the first day covers the fundamentals for newcomers.

Where is the training held?

Training normally takes place in our equipped training room at our head office in Nilüfer, Bursa. On request we also deliver it at your own facility, in which case the content is rebuilt around your machine park.

How long does the training take?

The core programme runs for two full days. If you want depth on SoftMotion, CNC or visualization it extends to three or four days. The final duration is set according to your choices on the registration form.

What does it cost per participant?

The fee depends on the modules chosen, the number of days and the number of participants. Once you submit the form we send you a written quote. A group rate applies from three participants of the same company upwards.

Which language is the training in?

Sessions are delivered in Turkish. For on-site training we can also present in English depending on the audience. Course notes and exercise files are shared in both Turkish and English either way.

Can I use my own laptop during the training?

Yes, and we prefer it. Installing on your own machine means you can carry on working in the same environment afterwards. Setup instructions are emailed beforehand, and we keep prepared machines in the room for anyone who cannot bring one.

Do I need to buy a licence for the training?

No. The development environment is free and the course runs on simulation. Paid components are only needed for the runtime and add-on packages that execute in the field, which we cover separately in the licensing module.

Is a certificate issued at the end?

Every participant who completes the programme receives a certificate listing the modules covered and the total hours. It is detailed enough to use in your internal competency records.

Is technical support available after the training?

Yes. For three months after the course we answer questions about the exercise projects by email. Work on your own machine project is scheduled separately as an engineering engagement.

What happens after I submit the form?

We normally come back to you within one business day. Once we have agreed on participant numbers, preferred modules and a date range, we send the schedule and quote in writing. Registration is confirmed when you approve the quote.
