Personal data protection and privacy policy
As EMEA Technology Endüstriyel Otomasyon A.Ş., acting as data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, we explain here why we process personal data, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

What we collect and why
When you contact us through this website or directly, we collect only the data needed to deal with your request:
- Identity and contact data: name, surname, company name, email address, telephone number.
- Content of your request: the machine and project information you send us in connection with a quote, technical support, training or a licence application.
- Transaction security data: the IP address, browser information and access time held in visit logs.
This data is processed in order to:
- Prepare quotations, manage contractual processes and provide after-sales support.
- Record technical support requests and follow them through to resolution.
- Carry out licence supply and activation.
- Meet statutory retention and disclosure obligations.
- Keep the site infrastructure secure and prevent misuse.
Processing rests on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law — the conclusion and performance of a contract, and legitimate interest. Where explicit consent is required we ask for it separately, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Transfer of data
We do not sell or pass on your personal data to third parties for marketing. Transfers are limited to the following cases:
- Licence supply: the minimum information needed to complete the transaction may be shared with the software manufacturer or authorised distribution channel.
- Service providers: our hosting, email and accounting suppliers, strictly to the extent the service requires.
- Public authorities: authorities legally empowered to request it, where legislation so requires.
Where a transfer abroad is necessary, it is carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the Law. Data is retained for as long as the purpose requires and for the minimum periods prescribed by the applicable legislation, after which it is erased, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights as a data subject
Under Article 11 of the Law you may apply to the data controller to exercise the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
- To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad.
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed data.
- To request erasure or destruction within the conditions set out in the Law.
- To require that correction, erasure and destruction be notified to the parties the data was transferred to.
- To object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis.
- To claim compensation if you suffer loss through unlawful processing.
You can send your requests to info@emea.com.tr or apply in writing to the address below. Applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
